A Toastmasters International Speakers Club

Our next meeting...

... is on Wednesday 26th November 2008. Meetings are held every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at the Friends Meeting House (by kind permission of the Society of Friends) in Cambridge. Meetings begin 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start and finish by 9.30pm.

The Atmosphere...

... is encouraging and relaxed so that every member can feel comfortable practicing their public speaking and leadership skills. Since public speaking can benerve wracking the Toastmasters program helps to improve participants' public speaking and confidence progressively.Image of friendly Toastmasters

We don't have a dress code, wear whatever makes you feel comfortableand confident. We don't wear red coats and (for those who have asked) we aren't pompous.

Guests are welcome...

... at all of our meetings. All you need to bring along is yourself and a pen. By attending a meeting you will be able to watch our speakers in action and decide if you like the club before deciding to join. If there is time you may even get a chance to speak during the impromptu 'Table Topics' session.
